Hims & Hers is one of the largest consumer telehealth companies in the US, and its GLP-1 business changed fundamentally in 2026. Anything you read about Hims compounded semaglutide is now out of date, and the sequence matters.
In February 2026 Hims launched a compounded oral semaglutide pill at $49 for a first month and $99 afterwards — a copy of the Wegovy tablet Novo Nordisk sells at $149 — and withdrew it within days amid concerns it may have run against the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. On 9 February 2026 Novo Nordisk sued Hims for patent infringement over compounded semaglutide, seeking an injunction running to the patent's expiry in December 2031.

For a cash-paying customer that is expensive — roughly $398/month for the pill route, against NovoCare Pharmacy selling the identical Wegovy pill direct at $149/month with no membership.
